Our intent is to develop pupils who can…
Play a positive and successful role within our diverse society, both as a child and as an adult.
Tackle many of the moral, social and cultural issues that could arise.
Express their opinions and remain open-minded - willing to consider new ideas.
PHSE
How do we promote learning in PHSE?
We will give the pupils the opportunity to be healthy, individual and responsible members of society and encourage all children to play a role in contributing to school life through fund raising, supporting charities, organising events and helping peers and others.

What does PHSE look like at St John's?
At St John’s our PSHE education is a planned programme of learning through which children acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives, now and in the future. As part of a whole school approach, PSHE education develops the qualities and attributes pupils need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society.
