Our enrichment programme ensures that children have the opportunity to participate, achieve and enjoy memorable experiences throughout their time at school.

Sport plays a significant role in school life, and pupils regularly take part in a variety of sporting events, festivals and competitions. These opportunities encourage children to be active, work collaboratively and demonstrate excellent sportsmanship while representing the school with pride. Alongside these events, we offer a range of after-school sports clubs that help children develop their skills and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Our enrichment offer also includes a variety of specialist clubs designed to inspire curiosity and creativity. Children can take part in our popular Forest School Club, where they develop practical outdoor skills and a deeper appreciation of the natural world. Our Engineering Club encourages problem-solving, innovation and teamwork, while Scootfit provides an exciting way for children to develop balance, coordination and confidence through physical activity.

We value the important partnership between home and school and actively create opportunities for families to be involved in their children's learning journey. Parents and carers are regularly invited to attend our popular Books and Biscuits sessions, where they can enjoy reading alongside their children and share in their love of learning. We also host termly Stay and Play sessions, providing families with valuable opportunities to experience school life, engage in learning activities and strengthen the positive relationships that are central to our school community. Our annual 'big sew' event brings the whole school together with grandparents and parents attending year after year.

To further enhance learning, we provide a range of educational visits and experiences that bring the curriculum to life and create lasting memories for our children. These opportunities allow pupils to deepen their understanding through hands-on learning, explore new environments and make meaningful connections with their classroom studies. Recent visits have included the Jorvik Viking Centre, where children immersed themselves in Viking history, Eden Camp to learn about life during World War II, Eureka! The National Children's Museum for interactive learning across a range of subjects, and Nell Bank Outdoor Education Centre, where pupils develop teamwork, resilience and a love of the outdoors. These enriching experiences help to spark curiosity, broaden horizons and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Our Year 6 Residential to Robinwood is a real highlight in the year!
