At St John’s, we believe that pupil leadership plays a vital role in helping children live out our vision of “Growing Together in One Family.” We encourage children to use their gifts and talents to serve others, take responsibility and contribute positively to school life. 

Inspired by the example of Jesus, we encourage pupils to understand the importance of justice and responsibility. Children are taught that they can be a force for good, standing up for what is right, showing compassion to others and helping to create positive change in their school, local community and the wider world. Through leadership opportunities, pupils learn that their actions can make a difference and that they have a responsibility to care for others and God's world.

By developing courageous, responsible and thoughtful leaders, we enable our children to put our Christian values of Love, Friendship, Honesty, Respect and Forgiveness into action. In doing so, they grow as individuals who are prepared to serve others, promote fairness and help everyone in our school family to flourish.
